Relocating to Round Rock

We will be leaving Fort Worth in the AM and heading to the La Quinta in Round Rock….. Dana and the kids will stay there while I return to the shop and check things out.

Stay Safe

Robert

Hey All,

It's about 9:30 Friday night helped @ JOC all day and shut site down tonight. I have spoken to Rod - Bobby - Jay and Robert. Haven't talked to anyone else. Weather is rapidly going down hill. Winds are about 40 and steady. Rain is intermittent as of now. I will also be available for calls as soon as we can roll. Well I put my saddle in the bathtub and am prepared to ride it out. So if possible I'll keep in touch

Good Luck To All
And To All Good Night

Trave to Fort Worth

Hello All.

Made it to Fort Worth just fine. Travel time was about 7 hours. We headed north from Lumberton, thru Silsbee on 92 to Dam B and turned left on 190 and made it to Woodville driving 70mph all of the way. I intended on joining 69 for just a few miles and continuing north on 287 but the highway patrol had other plans. 287 was blocked. We continued north on 69 thru Lufkin encountering only a few bottlenecks. Did you know that a cat can get car-sick?) and had McDonalds for a late dinner in Tyler. We jumped on I-20 West and drove 65-70 mph all the way to Fort Worth. Plenty of gas and places to eat that were open all of the way once we got away from the golden triangle.

Be safe
